It is hoped that the JMS TAG Wiki will allow us to create and edit web pages that will encourage and enable our JMS TAG community to collaborate and share information and ideas with each other, create a more cohesive TAG community, and allow for ways to manage and access this community's knowledge, ideas and information. As you collaborate and edit pages on this wiki please be sure that you are mindful of our guidelines.
Portal to Tagonia is the first of the 6th grade wiki projects.
Autum Fluency is the first of the 7th grade wiki projects.
As a part of the Pulaski County Special School District's Gifted and Talented program, the TAG (Talented and Gifted) program at Jacksonville Middle School adheres to the Gifted and Talented Rules and Regulations: Program Approval Standards set by the Arkansas Department of Education. Services are provided by certified Gifted/Talented facilitators.
TAG students in our middle school program are served through a pull-out program. Students participating in the TAG program receive direct instruction and work in the TAG resource room for a minimum of 150 minutes per week. As time, interest and opportunity permits; the TAG students may work in the TAG resource room in addition to the regularly scheduled times and may exceed the 150 minutes time requirement. The TAG facilitator endeavors to not only develop cognitive skills and abilities, but also address the affective needs of gifted students.
Mr. Lewis is the facilitator for the 6th and 7th grade TAG program participants. Mrs. Archer is the facilitator for the 8th grade TAG program participants. |

Welcome to your wiki library! You can get started and add content to this page by clicking Edit at the top of this page, or you can learn more about wiki libraries by clicking How To Use This Wiki Library. What is a wiki library?Wikiwiki means quick in Hawaiian. A wiki library is a document library in which users can easily edit any page. The library grows organically by linking existing pages together or by creating links to new pages. If a user finds a link to an uncreated page, he or she can follow the link and create the page. In business environments, a wiki library provides a low-maintenance way to record knowledge. Information that is usually traded in e-mail messages, gleaned from hallway conversations, or written on paper can instead be recorded in a wiki library, in context with similar knowledge. Other example uses of wiki libraries include brainstorming ideas, collaborating on designs, creating an instruction guide, gathering data from the field, tracking call center knowledge, and building an encyclopedia of knowledge.
